Elephant Ride was signed to Sony Workgroup records, so this was my 1st taste of being a member of a major label band. They had already released their debut record before I joined the band that was produced by none other than John Paul Jones!! I wish I had gotten to work with him, believe me. We did some good demos for the 2nd record, but the band got dropped which is too bad because I think that would have been a good record. The songs were much more catchy and radio friendly than their 1st record. I still really, really like the song ‘Both Souls Followed’ that we recorded.
